I'm Aric Miller, a 17-year-old indie artist from Medford, Oregon. I make alternative pop music built around faith and mental health, even when the songs are about relationships or dreams. My music is for the kids who think too much, feel too much, and wouldn't have it any other way.
I write and produce all of my music by myself right from my bedroom. Instead of sticking to just one style, I like to mix electronic pop with rock energy and orchestral ambience. When I sit down to create, I don't follow a strict rulebook; I just find a feeling or an idea and experiment until it sounds right.
My faith and my experiences with mental health play a major role in my music, and I write about them with total honesty. I aim to show a relatable, down-to-earth side of religion that connects with everyday people, whether they are religious or not. Because music helped me navigate my own difficult times, I write from a place of genuine experience to encourage others who are facing their own struggles.
So far, I've released two instrumental projects: a solo piano album about growing up in my childhood home, and a cinematic EP about the adventure of moving away. My upcoming second album continues that story, but this time, I'm adding lyrics and vocals to the mix. You can check out all of my tracks on the music page.
